Life has put us in a difficult situation.
We had to make a sad but responsible decision to close the gates of Gerbeaud Café indefinitely.
The Gerbeaud Café has stood the test of time, war and history since 1858. Our tradition obliges us not to give up now. We will do all we can to preserve one of the most beautiful cafés in Europe and to share the Gerbeaud experience and quality as soon as we have the opportunity.
The day when the voice of happy chatting once again fills our salons with waiters hustling and spinning and the heavenly aroma of coffee fill the air will be the most beautiful day of this year.
In the meantime, however, we have a thing to do: to get through this period safely.
We wish you and our companions perseverance and strength, everyone affected by the current situation.
